    Description

    Antique, Victorian hairbrush with a beautiful painted porcelain back, a gilt brass, reposse handle on the front and back and horse hair bristles. The back painted plaque features clematis blooms in yellow, purple and a rose color and is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or stains. The brass reposse handle features a rose motif, front and back and also is in excellent condition for the brush's age. The age is probably from around 1890's and it's probably from Germany. I also believe it was part of a larger set. The brush measures approx. 8 1/2" long and 2 1/2" wide. Please view all photos.
