The Black Box KV1515A Server Interface Module (SIM):
- Enable you to access individual CPUs from a user station with a ServSwitch Summit
- CIMs available for PS/2 CPU connections.
- Contain transmitters for relaying CAT5 signals and programmable ID information to and from the Summit.
- Function as fail-safe ports to the attached server in the event of a power loss.
- Available in versions for PS/2 connection types, ServSwitch Summit Computer Interface Modules (CIMs) c
ontain transmitters
for relaying CAT5 signals and programmable ID information to and from the connected ServSwitch Summit Base Unit. Install
them at each CPU.
- The CIMs offer dedicated, keep-alive keyboard/mouse emulation and fail-safe KVM access. An individual CIM functions as a
fail-safe port to the attached server in the event of power loss to the Base Unit or a loss of the CAT5 signal.
- Reduces cable volume for high density racks.
- CAT-5 cabling design makes it ideal for high-density applications.
