In 1989, Ed and Lorraine Warren were called in to investigate the Moffitt residence. This plaster bust of Jesus is a notable piece of paraphernalia from thIs case, the Moffitt Family Haunting, a paranormal event in which a Southern California family was terrorized for over six years by an unidentifiable entity Lorraine Warren considered one of the most ancient and powerful demons she had ever encountered.
This bust was frequently moved through the Moffitt residence by the entity through apportation, often disappearing for weeks at a time before returning in unusual places throughout the house, including being arranged with other religious objects to create patterns on the floors.
Measures approximately 15" x 6.5" x 5". There are signs of age and wear, such as chips in the sculpture and paint.
Includes a letter of authenticity from the haunting survivors and an original photograph documenting aftermath of the entity's activity.
