Mod Kits are available in 11 variations including:
Extra Light 1/4" - light attack, less projection
Light 3/8" - moderate attacks, more feedback to the player (.65 ounces)
Medium 1/2" - balanced, improved flexibility, solid attacks and slurs (1.23 ounces)
Heavy 3/4" - very efficient, crisp attacks at all dynamics, extreme flexibility, less feedback to player (1.83 ounces)
Heavier caps truly do not add much more efficiency, yet these are a popular option in 1" to 3" lengths

A: All Harrelson trim kits are machined to the exact dimensions of the original manufacturer's specifications to avoid any alignment issues.
Q: I ordered a Trim Kit and it does not fit. Now what?
A: SWE Trim is built to fit most trumpet makes and models. If you're having trouble, please follow these guidelines.
1. Carefully clean the valve threads on your trumpet
2. Lightly grease threads with medium slide grease
3. Screw on trim being careful not to cross-thread (the trim may fit tightly)
4. In the case that trim parts do not fit, please contact us with your make, model and serial #.
5. In some cases it may be necessary to send your trumpet to be custom fit for your SWE Trim Kit.
Q: What are the weights of Harrelson Trumpets bottom caps?
A: The Lightweight (3/8") caps weigh .65 oz. each. The Medium (1/2") caps weigh 1.23 oz. each. The Heavy (3/4") caps weigh 1.83oz. each.- we have also added several other "custom sizes" that are extremely light and very heavy. We are always adding custom designer series bottom caps and new inlays as well. So check back often and feel free to make requests. If you can dream it... we can build it!

A: We deliver all Mod Kits with loose felts so you can choose to use the original or new felts. These can be glued with just a drop of rubber cement.
