Grippy Base for Hakko OmniVise C1390C (Vise NOT INCLUDED)

Description

For sale is exactly what you think and see from the photos. Its a grippy base for the Hakko OmniVise. The base is 3D printed and friction fits snugly onto the Hakko OmniVise. The base also has a layer of cork applied to the bottom to aid in grip. The Hakko OmniVise C1390C is a great vise; but goes skating across my glass soldering work surface. I made and slapped this grippy base on and; what a difference!
As for the base; some of you may ask "Why not print a grippy pattern?". Good question; I made multiple prototypes; and in my testing, the flush surface lined with cork; gripped with more power than any style I tried. I tried it on glass; silicone mat, and a cutting mat. The cork lined surface won out every time; so that's the version I'm selling. If you want something else....email me and I'll listen.
OH. And this sale does NOT include the vise! I just put my vise in there for illustrative purposes.
