There are two pads(one is somewhat worn and the other appears to be new) to help prevent scratching during use.

    Up for auction is a used C. G. Conn "Dent Eraser" High Power Magnet for Brass and Woodwind repair.  I believe this tool originally sold for 0.00 and was only available to purchase from Conn/UMI by authorized music dealers.
    The tool has a chip in the magnet and some wear from previous use, but is still quite effective in removing hard to reach dents in tubas, baritones, sousaphones and saxophones. Included
    are two pads(one is somewhat worn and the other appears to be new) to help prevent scratching during use,
    six steel balls and the sizes are approximately 5/8", 7/8", 1- 1/8", 1-7/8" and 2-1/4" and a carrying case.
    This was used in a music store that has since closed and is being sold in "as-is" condition...No Returns!!
